Overview
The Galeed Be’eri Memorial Immersive Museum was created as a portable virtual AR exhibition designed to preserve memory, storytelling, and cultural documentation through immersive technologies.
The project explored how museums and memorial experiences can evolve beyond fixed physical spaces into scalable immersive environments that can travel internationally and adapt to different locations and audiences.
Mixed.Place developed a mobile holographic museum platform capable of transforming public spaces, cultural venues, conferences, and international locations into immersive storytelling environments.
Visitors entered guided experiences led by holographic virtual characters who accompanied them through different narrative stations, interactive moments, historical content, and spatial storytelling experiences integrated directly into the surrounding physical environment.
The system enabled large amounts of content to be deployed with minimal physical infrastructure, allowing the museum to appear simultaneously in multiple locations worldwide while maintaining a highly personal and emotionally engaging visitor journey.
By combining immersive storytelling, virtual exhibition design, holographic guidance, and portable deployment capabilities, the project demonstrated a new model for cultural preservation, memorial storytelling, and globally accessible immersive museum experiences.
